I am so grateful my job is so much more than taking photos. It’s an opportunity to experience people, life, and the world around me. It’s an opportunity to not only watch but capture emotions of all kinds: Love, Joy, Sadness, Pride.
Meeting Tristan and his momma and papa was no exception. Just look at that smile 🙂
At only 6 days old, he was a little thief….stealing not only his momma’s heart but the hearts of all those around him. He was born Monday January 9th and weighed 6lbs 11oz and was 19 inches long.
I brought our studio to them so that he didn’t have to leave the warm confines of his home and made sure he was as comfortable as possible.
Momma was a great help assisting with some of the signs I brought for props and making sure I had all I needed. Papa had to help as well with some diaper changes and feedings. No, Mr. Tristan would not sleep, and was very much involved with the shoot 🙂 We made it work though 🙂
Spending time with this family, you quickly realize momma is utterly in love with her new little mister. Seeing that pure emotion is so fulfilling makes newborn shoots so fun. I can’t wait to grow with this family and see what the world has in store for this new little man.
Thank you again to Jackie and John for inviting me into your home and entrusting me to capture these images.
