When you are preparing for your photo shoot you need to make sure you do one thing! Yep you heard me right the most important thing to worry about when you are trying to decide what to wear and what colors you might want. I know, I know you want to know what that item is… Well your wait is over! When your choosing your colors for your session the most important thing to consider is are you comfortable? That the most important thing to ask yourself.
You might not think that it’s a big deal but it really is. The more comfortable you feel in your clothes and colors the easier it will be to capture those great memories! You may be wondering how do you feel comfortable in a color? We all have that one go to color! Even if you may not think you do, there is that one color that will always bring out your eyes, the one color you love to wear, the one color that you think you look amazing in! If you are a Tomboy you wouldn’t feel comfortable in a dress or in pink now would you?
You want to be true to yourself, no matter what these photos are for you to share and cherish for the rest of your life. While comfort isn’t the only thing you should worry about it is on the top you still want consider a few more things when deciding your colors.
While matching outfits might pique your interest, unless its something you normally do on the regular, you might not feel comfortable. You want to keep it as close to your personalities as normal. You want to go on the same hue, such as one person wear blue and everyone else in a different shade of blue. Pick your main color and stem from there. Remember you don’t want to blend together so no one can see were you begin and were you end. You also want to make sure that you are choosing a color that will pop from the backgrounds. In other words if you are doing an outdoor shoot in a wheat field you may want to stay away from yellow and oranges. You don’t want to get lost in your background.
While there are many things to consider when you choose your colors these are just a few helpful hints on how to make your memories stress free! We will share more tips and tricks with you later! Remember it’s not too late to book your photo shoot before the end of the year!
